Still no response but...

So he didn't respond to this or this, but he did send the following text:

"I gave up on the scanner system. Mine is too slow. I'm going back to paper and binder...old school."

Would it kill him to revert to old school communication techniques like, say, the telephone?

My chicks are abandoning the nest with alarming regularity, so I need a new baby. Got one.

Now you're making feel guilty about the level of communication I provided my parents with when I was at university. Or rather, the level I didn't provide them with.

When my baby girl was in college, I heard from her every two weeks at best. Not to worry, though. Nowadays, she's the one calling me three to four times a week (and getting concerned if she gets my voicemail rather than me!).
